A strip-pieced tree was the beginning of another project, but the only part I was satisfied with was the tree, so the rest was discarded. The tree seemed the perfect backdrop for a group of house blocks of various sizes. There are quilted pathways among the cottages. The quilt became a gift for my son and his wife on the purchase of their new home. It is pictured in Lucy Fazely’s Quilt Style.
